در هاست های cPanel امکانی به نام Indexes وجود دارد که به کاربر این امکان را می دهد که در صورت عدم وجود فایل ایندکس (Index) که فایل پیشفرض هر پوشه یا در اصطلاح دایرکتوری می باشد لیست فایل های موجود در آن پوشه برای کاربر به نمایش در آید و به صورت پیش فرض فعال است اما به دلایل مختلفی ممکن است مایل به غیرفعال کردن دایرکتوری لیستینگ در سی پنل باشید که برای این منظور مطالب این آموزش  از پارس سیف می توانید اقدام کنید.

اینکه نرم افزار وب سرور با ورود کاربر یک سایت به هر فولدر چه رفتاری انجام دهد بستگی به تنظمیات آن نرم افزار وب سرور دارد اما به صورت پیشفرض اغلب این نرم افزارها ابتدا دنبال فایل های پیشفرض مانند index.html یا index.php و … می گردند و اگر پیدا کنند آن فایل را به نمایش می گذرند اما اگر پیدا نکنند معمولا به صورت پیشفرض سایر فایل های موجود در آن فولدر را لیست می کنند.

چندین دلیل ممکن است سبب شود که شما اقدام به غیرفعال کردن دایرکتوری لیستینگ در سی پنل نمایید.

از جمله ی این دلایل عدم نمایش فایلهای موجود در یک فولدر برای کاربران به دلایل امنیتی است زیرا زمانی که یک هکر به سهولت به لیست فایل های آپلود شده روی سایت شما را مشاهده کرده و نسبت به تست امنیت فایلها اقدام نماید.

برای غیرفعال کردن دایرکتوری لیستینگ در سی پنل ابتدا به پنل هاست سی پنل خود وارد شوید و از بخش ADVANCED به بخش indexes بروید.

پس از آن در لیستی که برای شما باز می شود روی فولدر مورد نظر خود کلیک کرده و گزینه ی No Indexing را انتخاب نموده و تغییرات را save نمایید.

با این کار نمایش لیست فایلها و فولدرهای موجود در آن پوشه و پوشه های زیر مجموعه ی آن در صورت عدم وجود فایل ایندکس به صورت مخفی درخواهد آمد.
